FELIX BOYER

Illustrator Watercolourist

Félix Boyer.jpg

Félix is an illustrator and designer from Bordeaux. He's been drawing for as long as he can remember, perfecting his painting and drawing techniques during his training in jewellery making, but he soon realised that his real passion was for illustration.

He created a world of animals and creatures inspired by cartoons, manga and comic strips, set in settings that combine urbanism and nature. Each of his illustrations tells a story, like a comic strip box, they are alive and you can wander through them like in a curiosity cabinet! Watercolour quickly became his main means of expression, enabling him to create his own shades and give his characters the movement he wanted.

Félix finds his inspiration outdoors, in parks, forests and towns. He regularly writes travel diaries, which are his main source of inspiration. His most recent trip to Japan led to the creation of his ‘Japanese Illustrations’ series, available exclusively on our website, which you can discover here.
